San Diego's #1 Bartending School!
Bartending Certificates and the BBB:
The truth about bartending certificates and licenses is
that there is NO SUCH THING in the state of California. Some dishonest
bartending schools will try to convince you that you need to be "certified"
as a bartender. They are not telling you the truth. There are NO "certified"
bartenders in the state of California.
What about TIPS Certification? Again, you
do NOT need to have a TIPS certificate to bartend in our state. Any school
that claims that "most bars" require a TIPS certificate are
being dishonest. Ask them this Question: "Name 5 bars or restaurants in San Diego that require this TIPS certificate?" We haven't come accross any!
Fact: If you want to get a TIPS certificate,
you can go directly to the "TIPS" site and take the test for
a small fee. Here is a link to that site: GetTips.Com.
What about the BBB? Did you know that ANY business can be a member of the BBB? It takes $$$ to
be a member. It is NOT a government agency.
We could pay and become a member tomorrow, but we feel that it's dishonest
and prefer to rely on our real reputation.
